What is the application and selection process for TEXATA Startup & Innovation Pitches?
TEXATA Startup & Innovation Pitches are open to startups, established companies, and big data technology institutions with new big data analytics innovations. Each company interested in pitching their new big data technology at the TEXATA Summit must contact us for an application form.
When selecting companies, we look at several criteria: novelty (newness of the big data analytics), innovativeness (originality of the approach), potential (degree of impact in the big data analytics industry), wow/X-factor, and diversity (comparison to the number of companies in the same “space” competing for a spot).
Given the competitiveness of the application process, one of the major keys to being selected is to have something new, innovative and substantial to demo live on stage.
How does a company apply to present?
The application process consists of an in-depth online application. Applying to present is completely CONFIDENTIAL.
How much does it cost to apply?
There is no cost to apply.

When do applications close?

How are the Startup & Innovation Pitches structured?
The chosen companies will be given 7 minutes to present their pitch to the entire TEXATA audience. Following the pitches, there will be plenty of time for networking with the influential big data analytics professionals in attendance.
Can I get information on which companies will be presenting Startup & Innovation Pitches?
This will be made available once the companies are selected.
Are all the Startup & Innovation Pitches companies going to present in the same session?
Yes, the pitches will be held during the afternoon session of TEXATA Summit.
